My name’s Jamie. I’m an illustrator1 and gardener2 based in Sheffield, UK. I am interested in observing the natural world up close, paying careful attention to the details and telling stories about the interconnectedness of all things. I publish work exploring the wonders of rockpools, meandering streams and overlooked patches of weeds. I illustrate articles about knowledge and connection, exhibit original prints diving into the complexities of moss and lichen and run drawing and printmaking workshops for schools and other organisations. As an educator and researcher, I have shared insights into how to communicate ecological stories through close observation and slow engagement with the world.
